Bachelor of Science Hons.Dip Ed.Co-founder and Director of Bakers Delight since 1980.

 Barry Brownjohn, Non-Executive Director

Appointed to the Board in 1993, Barry has extensive experience in commercial and investment banking. He is a Senior Consultant with Pacific Road Corporate Finance, a leading independent corporate advisory firm, and previously held senior positions at the Bank of America in Asia and US Headquarters. He has served as Managing Director of the Bank of America in Australia and is a graduate in accounting, finance and systems at the University of NSW.

Robert Newey (Bob), Non-Executive Director

Appointed in 2008, Bob brings 30 years of experience in managing change, developing strategic plans, organising people and leading entrepreneurial teams. Bob is a retail advisor with Texas Pacific Group, a consultant to the Myer Management Board and a Director of Australian Geographic and Director of a business advisory and management firm. Previously he was a member of the Woolworths senior management team and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Chris Caldwell, General Manager Operations

Chris was appointed in July 2007 after four years managing the Marketing and Retail Strategy divisions of Tattersall's. Prior to this, Chris was the General Manager Marketing & Sales at Village Roadshow – Exhibition and has an extensive background in marketing, management, commercial strategy and operations. Chris has a Bachelor of Business and a Diploma in Financial Market Economics.

Gerry Gerrard, General Manager Property & Supply Chain Management

Gerry joined Bakers Delight in November 2004, after four years as National Property Manager - Retail at ANZ. Prior to that Gerry worked in national property roles at AXA and Coles Myer and also has a background in retail and small business. Gerry has a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Masters of Management.

Debbie Dowling, Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Debbie joined Bakers Delight in April 1998 and was appointed General Manager - Finance and Company Secretary in October 2008 and further promoted to her current role in 2011. Debbie has 14 years experience in accounting and business management in the retail sector. Debbie has a Bachelor of Commerce and is a Certified Practicing Accountant.

Joanne Stubbs, Chief Information Officer (CIO)

Joanne joined Bakers Delight in August 2008 after two years working abroad in Dubai for Dubaiworld and in Fiji for Westpac. Prior to this Joanne worked as CIO for the Good Guys and CIO-Asia Pacific for GMAC. Joanne has extensive experience in the retail and finance industries with a solid project management background. Joanne has a Masters in Management majoring in Technology.

Matt Hiah, Regional Manager VIC/TAS

Matt has a retail operations background from his time at Salvos Stores and Bakers Delight. Matt originally joined Bakers Delight in February 2001 and held national support and bakery operations roles in Victoria, Tasmania and Queensland. He was also part of the 13 person team selected to open COBS Bread bakeries in Canada. After working at Salvo Stores, Matt returned to Bakers Delight in September 2010. Matt has a Bachelor of Business and is finalising a Master of Business Administration.

David Tierney, Regional Manager WA

Prior to Bakers Delight, David spent eight years in Retail Management including three years operating his own bakery. As a Business Consultant, David gained strong operational experience prior to being appointed to Regional Manager WA in January 2006.

Paul Triglau, Regional Manager SA/NT

Paul joined Bakers Delight in February 2012 after being a co-owner of Riviera and Paolo’s Bakeries. His passion for baking has seen him represent Australia in the World Baking Cup in 2010 and as Captain in 2011. He has been a lecturer in Retail Baking at Regency TAFE and has a Bachelor of Education and Applied Science (Physiotherapy).

Todd Martin, Regional Manager NSW (South)

Todd joined Bakers Delight in June 2006 as an Area Manager and in 2010 was appointed Regional Manager QLD. In 2011, Todd was appointed Regional Manager NSW (South). Prior to this he was with Domino's Pizza for six years, four of which Todd gained invaluable operations experience as a franchisee. He also gained two years corporate experience at Subway. Todd is currently competing a Bachelor of Commerce.

David Hart, Regional Manager NSW (North)

David gained a wealth of knowledge in food retail while working with KFC for 14 years and Burger King for four years prior to joining Bakers Delight in 2004. David was a successful Area Manager with Bakers Delight and was subsequently appointed to the Regional Managers position in November 2011.

Darren Rodricks, Regional Manager QLD

Darren started his career at Bakers Delight in 2008 as an Area Manager in WA and was then appointed to Regional Manager QLD in November 2011. He has over 16 years experience in retail notably with McDonald’s, Pizza Hut, Chicken Treat and Caltex. Darren has a Bachelor of Hospitality Management & Administration.

Elise Gillespie, Vice President COBS Bread Canada

Elise joined COBS Bread in May 2004 after finishing her Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne. Elise has gained extensive operational knowledge and skill in a variety of roles across a number of regions both in Canada and the US. She was appointed to her current role, overseeing Operations and Marketing, in 2009.

Aaron Gillespie, Vice President COBS Bread Canada

Aaron started his career with Bakers Delight in 2000 in Operations – working across a number of bakeries in Melbourne. He moved to Canada as part of the team which established COBS Bread and since that time has been instrumental in expanding COBS Bread across Canada. In 2009 Aaron was appointed to his current role overseeing Operations, Product Development, Finance and IT.

David Christie, Vice President COBS Bread Canada

David joined COBS Bread in June 2004 after finishing his Bachelor of Arts from Cape Town University, South Africa. David has gained extensive operational knowledge and skill in a variety of roles across a number of regions both in Canada and the US. He was appointed to his current role, overseeing Operations, Human Resources and Training in 2009.

John Gilson, Vice President COBS Bread Canada

John joined COBS Bread in March 2003, after working at CBRE Ltd. as a Tenant Representation Specialist in the retail brokerage field for 7 years. Prior to this John worked in the United Kingdom for 10 years as Director of Acquisitions at Pizza Hut, and other brand retailers. John has a BA Science in Environmental Economics from Trinity College, Dublin.
