
Big Kids Burger
This delicious burger will satisfy after a day of school or afternoon activities. A great way to get some healthy salad and vegies into the meal for fussy eaters, between two pieces of bread!

FEATURING Hi-Fibre Lo-GI White Roll
Ingredients
4 Bakers Delight Hi-Fibre Lo-GI Rolls
300gm mince beef
1 tbsp tomato paste
Breadcrumbs
1 egg
1 tbsp dried oregano
1 tbsp dried basil
Olive oil
1 cup lettuce – shredded
1 beetroot, sliced
1 carrot, grated
Method

Step 1
Mix the mince together with the tomato paste, oregano, basil and the egg. Add breadcrumbs, just enough to make sure the mixture is wet, but able to be shaped.

Step 2
Shape into small patties (the diameter should be slightly smaller than that of the bread roll)

Step 3
Heat a dash of olive oil in a heavy based frypan on a low to medium heat. Cook the patties, turning once until cooked through.

Step 4
Slice the bread rolls in half and top with the patty, lettuce, beetroot and carrot. For an extra flavour hit, smear some mustard on the top half of the roll.
