Breakfast Roll

Egg and Bacon, there’s no need to talk it up – everybody knows that egg and bacon are made for each other – and there’s no better way to have it than on our Fresh White Round Rolls. Go for some streaky bacon, throw in some rocket plus our avo salsa, amazing.



Egg & Bacon Roll

2 Bakers Delight White Round Rolls (with Sesame Seeds)
3 tbsp olive oil
4 rashers streaky bacon
2 eggs
1/4 cup baby rocket

Avocado Salsa

1/2 avocado, peeled and roughly chopped
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 red onion, finely sliced
2 tbsp parsley, chopped


  1. Avocado Salsa

    1. Step 1

      Place the avocado, lemon juice, red onion, and parsley in a small bowl. Season with salt and pepper, and then stir to mix all ingredients together. Set aside.

  2. Egg & Bacon Roll

    1. Step 1

      Heat half of the oil in a pan over a medium-high heat. Add the bacon and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until it becomes crispy and golden. Remove from the pan and place onto a plate. Cover with foil.

    2. Step 2

      Add the remainder of the oil to the same pan, and then carefully crack in the eggs. Cook the eggs for 3-4 minutes or until they are crispy around the edges but soft in the centre. Take off the heat.

    3. Step 3

      Slice each Bakers Delight Roll in half and then spoon the avocado salsa over the bases.

    4. Step 4

      Top with the bacon rashers and some rocket, and then carefully lay one fried egg over each of the rolls. Season with salt and pepper, and then close the breakfast rolls with the lids to finish.

    5. Step 5

      Serve immediately.
