Spinach Dip

Bringing the dip to the party? It doesn’t have to be unhealthy! This spinach dip served in our Sourdough Cob with colourful veggies is a fresh alternative to the standard chips and salsa.

Ingredients

1 Bakers Delight Sourdough Cob
2 packets of frozen spinach
1 onion finely diced
2 garlic cloves finely chopped
1 small carrot grated
1 Tbsp olive oil
2 cups of Greek yoghurt
1/4 cup mayonnaise
salt and pepper to taste

Method

STEP 1

Defrost spinach in the fridge over night

STEP 2

Using your hands squeeze out all of the excess water from the spinach and place in a large bowl.

STEP 3

Preheat a medium frying pan over medium heat

STEP 4

Add oil and saute the onion, carrot and garlic until soft then transfer to the bowl with the spinach

STEP 5

Add remaining ingredients and mix well until combined

STEP 6

Season to taste with salt and pepper
